PODCAST: South Africa’s consumer food price inflation continues to slow

At 1.4%, it’s at its lowest level since 2010

The figures released by Stats SA this week show that consumer food price inflation slowed to 1.4% in June 2026, from 1.6% in May. This is the lowest level since December 2010.
